1st and foremost, the house Salsa is awesome! They sat 8 of us quickly, server was super polite and professional. She had our drinks very fast, and they were busy. The queso dip was outstanding, and Guacamole dip appetizer. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend visiting.
Clovis can look a little rough around the edges, but TJ is among the best Mexican restaurants on the planet. It is so good. Tremendous selection, at least 4 kinds of beef available, everything hot, fresh and delicious. The one oddity is that while the restaurant looks modern and clean, the restrooms somehow look like they are from the 1950s. Still clean, mind you, I just felt like I stepped back in time to give my hands a wash. No idea why that seemed like a review-worthy comment. Perhaps I'm still woozy from my enchilada and stew buzz.
We stopped here cause we are passing by and wanted somewhere to sit down and grab a quick bite, the food came out within 20min of ordering. Everything came out good and hot it was very delicious and our server was very nice.
Excellent Mexican food spot! Service was incredibly quick, and the inside of the restaurant was lively and clean. Prices are fair and quantities are good. The salsa is a touch spicy, so tread lightly if you have a low spice tolerance. It would also be nice if there was bike parking as well - otherwise great experience!

My standards for Mexican food is quite high. The food here is very good. The guacamole was fresh (just not very interesting), The menudo was very enjoyable, and the Camerons a la Diabla was very tasty and spicy.

I can't say enough good stuff about this home town restaurant. We had the barbacoa and menudo today. Their food is fresh, perfectly seasoned and consistently great. Everyone is friendly. The restaurant itself is clean, pretty and comfortable. Prices are actually affordable, which is rare these days. Highly recommend.
